First off, I am curious about the name. What does RAD stand for, and what about it’s AI makes it so unique?

RAD stands for "Remove All Doubt" and represents our mission to eliminate the uncertainties and guesswork associated with digital marketing and how brands create content that attracts customers.

What sets our tech apart is that our AI is trained to analyze historical and real-time content patterns across numerous channels to create precise AI-informed audience personas. These audience personas tell brands who their customer is and how best to create content for them. This results in more effective and authentic digital marketing communications that ultimately deliver more ROI.

It's quite validating for the team to see how our technology is truly transforming how our brand partners interact and engage with their customers - not only are they building more authentic relationships, but they are also seeing 3.5X ROI on their efforts.

Amazingly, it looks like your funding to date has been in the tens of millions. What have you heard from investors that excites them most about this opportunity to invest in RAD AI?

I appreciate you calling out our investor base. We are equally humbled and energized by the ongoing support from our investor community. Today, we have over 6000 investors, including backing from Fidelity, Adobe Fund for Design, VCs and execs at Google, Amazon and Live Nation. 

There are a lot of exciting components to our story;  the No. 1 driver of investment today is the uniqueness and proven efficacy of our AI technology. Our clients are winning with more effective marketing campaigns, boosting ROI. We've also seen significant improvements in campaign costs and time due to our AI. The value we deliver shows up on our client's P&L, which, as we know, drives most critical budget decisions.

Because of this, we've tripled revenue over the past year - propelling us into a leadership position within an enormous $633 billion market ripe for disruption. This massive potential for growth, coupled with an elite client base, is another significant motivator for investors.  

Can you talk a little bit about how your AI tech powers an industry that I care a lot about, hospitality & STRs?

Love or hate it, marketing is not just an option but a necessity for the STR industry to thrive in today's digitally-driven, mobile-first market. I recently read in Skift that 34% of travelers said TikTok is a significant influencer in their travel planning. TikTok has over one billion active users - HUGE and not an audience you want to ignore. 

In that vein, we recently ran a campaign with Jurny - a close friend of The Offer Sheet community, from what I understand! Their team wanted to build a social media campaign to increase brand awareness, boost engagement, and drive new leads. We utilized our AI-powered tech to pinpoint the right audience and select the best creators and messages to deliver the most engaging and impactful content possible. The campaign went viral and drove a surge in interest in Jurny that generated over a million views, encouraged a flurry of likes and comments, and translated to dozens of new business leads.

That's one example of how we can help companies in this industry maximize their marketing dollars and crush their marketing goals.

What are some industries you think you will play a hand in significantly disrupting in the next 5-10 years, and why?

We are currently looking at multiple verticals within the marketing industry. Those sectors include social media, digital advertising, search engine optimization, analytics and data management, marketing automation, influencer marketing, and customer relationship management. We are confident that our technology can meaningfully disrupt these sectors and deliver better performance for companies in this space than they currently receive.

What’s in store for the future of RAD AI and what’s on the roadmap for 2024 and beyond?

Looking ahead, we are embarking on an ambitious acquisition and M&A strategy that will be driven by a larger Reg A+ round early next year. Investors that get in now are getting in before some pretty exciting activity that we expect will create shareholder value.  

A portion of the funds raised from the crowd will be strategically deployed to acquire smaller agencies, integrate them with RAD's technology, and consolidate our market position. Our analysis indicates that agencies lacking AI capabilities face a significant disadvantage in the market, presenting us with a remarkable opportunity. 

RAD's technology is poised to enhance critical aspects of agency operations, from new customer closing rates to client value and retention. Our first M&A target has already been identified, with closure expected in early 2024, and more targets are in the pipeline.

Over the last year, consumers have been inundated with so much about AI tech. How is yours unique and how do you stand out from the competition in such a crowded and ever growing space? 

RAD's team is focused on building a product its customers love. In some instances, our clients are even working hand-in-hand with our product team on new feature sets that solve their specific problems. AI is still in its nascency, so while there is noise, the vendors with viable products that solve content ROI challenges are limited. Our results consistently demonstrate an average 3.5X return on investment across various marketing channels, saving over 250 hours per campaign and significantly reducing content costs for our clients. Additionally, we emphasize AI adoption and education, teaching clients how to best utilize and implement AI into their workflows.

What has your growth as a business looked like in the last 12 months in 2023?

In just a year, we've achieved remarkable growth with a threefold increase in revenue. Our projected year-end revenue for 2023 is an impressive $5.1 million, with $2.9 million already booked. Notably, our average deal size has surged, partially thanks to a client roster that includes renowned brands such as Hasbro, Sweetgreen and MGM, among others.

Typically when I invest in a company, I want to know more about the team running the show and what their background / experience is. Can you share more on that?

I have the pleasure of working alongside some of the most talented leaders, marketing practitioners and engineers in the business. I am a three-time founder with multiple exits, and our world-class leadership team includes seasoned entrepreneurs with five exits between them, growth strategists, PhDs, and industry innovators from Wharton, Harvard, and MIT.

What could a potential exit look like in 5-10 years if readers want to invest? Acquisition, IPO? 

We have a very busy and exciting road ahead and our eyes are set on bringing RAD AI to the public markets. Stay tuned for more on this front!
